Fall 2022 United Week of Prayer Host Sites
From Sunday, October 16th till Sunday, October 23rd, people of faith are invited to take up hour-long prayer posts in physical prayer spaces around the city for the common purpose of asking for God’s peace and prosperity for Dane County.
We are grateful to Kevin Kneisl of YWAM who has organized a Worship Kickoff on Sunday, October 16th at 5:00pm at Northside Christian Assembly. Thank you to the worship leaders from NCA, Damascus Road Church, City Church, and YWAM for making this possible. The whole community is invited to attend.
Collaboration Project is excited to have five different physical prayer rooms distributed geographically across Madison to provide convenient, welcoming, and reflective spaces to engage in prayer. Individuals, partners, and families are welcome to engage these spaces in ways that are meaningful for them. Prayer rooms will be accessible 24/7 and participants will be given information on how to securely enter and exit the buildings during evening hours.

Northside Christian Assembly - 709 Northport Drive, Madison
Churches on the northside have had a long tradition of collaboration and partners from Northside Christian Assembly, Troy Gardens Missional Family, and Youth with a Mission (YWAM) are combining their creativity to set up a prayer room.
City Church - 4909 E. Buckeye Road, Madison
City Church was blessed to host a prayer room for us last spring during Holy Week and is excited to return as a host site on the East side. Please be aware that participants will need to navigate some stairs to access this prayer room.
Collaboration Project NEW Co-Working Space - 6506 Schroeder Road, Madison (behind the Waldorf School)
We are excited both to show off our NEW Co-Working Space and to offer a place for Prayer in an intentionally ecumenical setting. Come and see how the CoPro staff interpret God’s call to seek the flourishing of our city. Please be aware that participants will need to navigate some stairs to access this prayer room.
Madison Christian Community - 7118 Old Sauk Road, Madison
For more than 50 years, Madison Christian Community (MCC) has been a partnership of Advent Lutheran ELCA and Community of Hope UCC. MCC is a Cohort 1 participant in Awaken Dane and welcomes this opportunity to serve the West side as a location for prayer.
New Culture Church - 301 S. Bedford Street, Suite 219, Madison
New Culture Church has had a vision to establish a Prayer Room for some time, and this week of prayer is a great catalyst in making that vision a reality. Please be aware that participants will need to navigate some stairs to access this prayer room.
Each prayer room is being set up independently, drawing on the traditions and culture of the host congregation. We invite you to choose one - or seek out multiple sites - and encounter traditions that may be similar to or different from your own. What a wonderful opportunity to learn from and grow with one another in faith!
